It’s important to recognise when it’s time to slow down.

One of things I’ve learnt this year is that I’m not invincible. Stress takes a toll if you don’t look after yourself.

I find taking 5 minutes after a long day helps me stay grounded and slightly feel like ‘I’ve got my life together’. It helps me wind down for the night.

If you’re struggling with stress or feel like your mind won’t switch off, try these.

Shut your eyes, take a few slow deep breaths and focus on grounding yourself.
